Morris Library is where you'll find resources such as tutoring through the Center for Learning Support and Testing Services, math labs, and the Writing Center just to name a few. The Office of Disability Support Services (DSS) is committed to assuring that students with disabilities receive equal, effective, and meaningful access to all campus programs, resources, and services. Their staff coordinates and provides support services to students with disabilities and works closely with faculty and staff in an advisory capacity providing disability education awareness around ensuring equal access within courses, physical structures, and in the online environment.

If you're looking for scholarship opportunities, visit scholarships.siu.edu to conduct a scholarship search or to complete SIU's scholarship application that automatically matches you to scholarships you qualify for.
Non-Traditional Student Services also offers the Piper McMahan Endowed Scholarship and the Non-Traditional Student Services Scholarship. These applications are due annually by Feb. 1 and are available through SIU's scholarship application (see above).
Other scholarships specific to non-traditional students include: the American Association of University Women Graduate Scholarship, the Joyce A. Kellly Memorial Scholarship, and the Lelia Marvin Scholarships.
- Housing and Family Resources
SIU offers on-campus family housing complete with an after-school program, transit service, on-site laundry, playground, and more!
SIU values families! SIU offers family-friendly events, family housing, on-campus childcare, and a family study room at Morris Library to name a few. With a Family Identification Card, spouses/domestic partners and children of enrolled students can also receive campus benefits or discounts in designated campus programs and activities including Morris Library, Saluki Express, Student Recreation Center, Student Health Services, and SIU Athletics.
To obtain a Family ID Card, enrolled students must bring valid student ID and appropriate documentation to the office of Non-Traditional Student Services (Student Services Building, room 484) as indicated on the application. Cards must be renewed each semester to maintain eligibility for the program. Contact (618) 453-7521 for additional information.
